UFC Quick Quote: Luke Rockhold's ground game isn't that scary

Tommy Gilligan-USA TODAY Sports

"I think this is a good fight for me. [Rockhold] has a good striking, but I'm ready. If the fight goes to the ground, I will also be ready for everything he does, and I will try to surprise him as well. He's a top five, he's been doing great in his fights and his ground game is really good, but I can go to the ground with him and do well. His ground game doesn't scare me at all."

Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida will continue his march back toward the division title when he throws hands against Luke Rockhold in the upcoming UFC on FOX 15 mixed martial arts (MMA) main event, set for the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, on Sat., April 18, 2015. The quick-fisted "Dragon" told MMA Fighting that he expects a tough battle against the ex-Strikeforce champion but at the same time, is not afraid to take the fight south, if that's where the submission-savvy Rockhold wants it to play out. How about it fight fans, does this evenly-matched contest go to the scorecards, or end by way of knockout or submission?
