Kountermove Fantasy MMA previews are back on MMAmania.com, and we kick off the festivities with a special deposit bonus and preview for UFC Fight Night 61, which will air this Sunday night (Feb. 22, 2015) live on FOX Sports 1 from the Gigantinho Gymnasium in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.

Bruce Fedyck-USA TODAY Sports

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returns to Brazil for a special Sunday evening (Feb. 22, 2015) of fights as heavyweight legends square off live on FOX Sports 1 from the Gigantinho Gymnasium in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.

In the main event of UFC Fight Night 61 (results here), former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir looks to get back into the win column as he takes on dangerous heavyweight striker Antonio Silva. With both "Bigfoot" and the former champ coming off tough losses, a win is vital for the behemoths on Sunday evening.

Ready to spice up your mixed martial arts (MMA) viewing experience? Look no further than fantasy MMA with Kountermove!

If you are not familiar with how Kountermove works, here is what you need to know:

In Kountermove you build a team of five fighters utilizing a "salary cap" of $25,000 in fantasy money to spend on drafting the team you expect to perform the best on fight night. If your team performs well enough, you will likely have a share of cash prizes in any number of Kountermove's games.

Points* are scored with finishes, significant strikes, knockdowns, takedowns, dominant positions, and submission attempts. The more dominant your fighters' performance is, the more points you're going to score. For a detailed breakdown of how the scoring works, click here.

*Fighter statistics are provided by FightMetric LLC, the UFC's official stats provider.

Kountermove is offering MMAmania readers a special deposit bonus using the code "Maniacs." Use the promo code at checkout on Kountermove for a 25 percent instant deposit bonus this week with a $100 max bonus amount!

Before jumping into some picks and analysis for Kountermove games for UFC Fight Night 61, remember that you can not simply pick only favorites on fight night, as each fighter's fantasy price is associated with his odds of victory. Remember that with $25,000 to play with and five fighters on your team, you need to average $5,000 per fighter.

Without further ado, here is my main event preview, as well as my star pick for the FOX Sports 1 event.

Antonio Silva ($5600) vs. Frank Mir ($5000)

Former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir has had it rough lately in the sport of MMA. Ever since his jaw-dropping submission victory over Minotauro Nogueira way back at UFC 140 in 2011, the jiu-jitsu ace has been on the wrong side of four straight losses -- two of which came via (technical) knockout.

With his career hanging in the balance, Mir opted to take a year off from competition, and he will take one more proverbial swing at a victory this weekend in the main event of UFC Fight Night 61. Standing across the cage from him will be the uber dangerous knockout machine Antonio Silva.

"Bigfoot" himself has fallen on some tough times, as he is 0-2-1 in his last three contests -- two of which were via (technical) knockout. With the potential to go on a four-fight winless streak this Sunday, Silva needs a big performance in his native Brazil.

With both fighters' chins seemingly failing -- and considering it only takes one shot to close out the lights in the heavyweight division -- you have to choose wisely between Mir and Silva this weekend in Kountermove.

The two major avenues for victory for either man is Mir via submission and Silva via knockout. While those outcomes are certainly nowhere near definite, it seems likely one of those two scenarios will play out on Sunday.

The issue for Mir is the fact that "Bigfoot" himself is a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and has never once been finished in MMA via submission. Then again, the former heavyweight champ was the first man in MMA history to submit the legendary "Big Nog," so you can not count out the possibility of Mir getting the job done this weekend.

On the other hand, 13 of Silva's 18 career victories have come via (technical) knockout, and seven of Mir's nine career losses have come via (technical) knockout, so you do the math.

If you are going to pick either of the heavyweights on Sunday night for Kountermove, I believe your best pick resides with Antonio Silva, as you hope for a 100 point bonus following a first round knockout.

Star Pick: Iuri Alcantara ($5200)

Of all 24 combatants on the UFC Fight Night 61 card, Iuri Alcantara is unquestionably the best pick for Kountermove this weekend.

While the Brazilian's price point of $5200 may seem a bit much, the likelihood of "Marajo" paying huge dividends to Kountermove players this weekend is very high.

Alcantara is currently ranked No. 8 in the bantamweight division as he is riding an impressive three-fight winning streak. Interestingly enough, UFC matchmakers opted to give Alcantara an unranked opponent in Frankie Saenz -- who won his UFC debut over Nolan Ticman via decision last August.

Whether or not UFC brass purposely chose to give Alcantara an opponent he would be heavily favored against in his native Brazil, the fact is that on paper, Iuri far outmatches his American counterpart.

With finishes earning you major points in Kountermove -- and Alcantara earning 25 finishes in 31 career victories -- it seems likely the top-ranked bantamweight will put on a show for his hometown fans before finishing off Saenz in spectacular fashion.

While absolutely nothing in MMA is guaranteed, this is about the closest you can get to a sure-fire finish at UFC Fight Night 61.

That's a wrap! Enjoy the games and don't forget to use the special "Maniacs" promo code!
