Round 1: Johnson moving forward, eats a body kick. Johnson counters a blocked head kick with a flurry. Counter left hook after eating a body kick. Another body kick. Left hook connects for Barboza. Furious pace early, another body kick connects. Counter right hook. Counter uppercut and Johnson clinches. One minute in. They separate. Edson ducks a winging left hand. Another body kick connects for him. Left hook from Barboza, Johnson overhand left. Two minutes in. Counter knee as Johnson flurries. 1-2 from Johnson, eats a head kick. Right hook lands, head kick blocked. One minute in. Overhand left connects. Alvey has yet to throw. Two minutes in, elbow misses for the Brazilian. Heavy body kick connects, wheel kick goes high. Body jab, low kick. Counter right from Alvey misses. Two minutes to go.

Mutante lands another right hook, eats a knee to the body. A pair of hooks connect for him. Up-elbow from Ferreira, but he gets knocked out cold with a right hook and left uppercut. That was dramatic.

Round 1: Both men tentative early. Khabilov wings a right hand, takes a finger in the eye but elects to fight on. One minute in. Counter right lands for Khabilov off a Martins body kick. Not much action early on. Martins steps in, takes a glancing overhand right. Two minutes in. Khabilov right hand off-target. Martins shoots in, bringing Khabilov down against the fence and nearly scoring an RNC in the process. Martins on top in half guard. Two minutes to go.

Khabilov scrambles up and makes space. Lead right hand connects for the Dagestani. Leg kick from Martins, Khabilov lands a counter right. One minute to go. Body shot from Rustam. High kick misses. Lead left hook connects. He shoots in, can't get Martins down. Martins body kick. There's the bell. 10-9 Khabilov.

Round 2: Body kick from Martins after taking an inside low kick. One minute in. Very slow fight so far. Rustam falls short with a right, lands an arcing left hook. Martins tries to wade in, can't connect. Khabilov head kick blocked. Two minutes in. Martins slips a 1-2, avoids a head kick. Khabilov eager to counter with big shots. Khabilov lands an up-elbow, then lands a hard left hook. Two minutes to go.

He tries the elbow again, doesn't connect. Martins shoots in under an overhand right, can't get him down. Straight left by Martins. Khabilov denied on a takedown attempt, lands a left hook on the exit. One minute to go. Overhand right connects for Khabilov, who's building momentum. Martins drops him with a left at the bell, but Khabilov is back up in a hurry. 10-9 Khabilov.

Round 3: Counter right hook connects for Martins early on. Low kick lands for him, then again. Glancing straight left. Wheel kick attempt from Khabilov lands to the body. One minute in. Martins shoots in, taking him down after ducking a right hand. Martins on top in half guard. Khabilov working to regain guard, can't do so. Two minutes in. Martins passes right to mount, Khabilov regains half guard and manages to scramble up, getting in on a leg. Martins limp-legs out of the single. Flying knee attempt from Khabilov blocked. Rustam shoots in, gets sprawled on. Another flying knee falls short. One minute to go. Martins sticks him with a jab, avoiding the counter uppercut. Overhand right connects for Rustam, knocking Martins off balance. Hard body shot follows. Head kick blocked. Martins takes him down again, once again under the overhand right. Khabilov stands before the bell. 10-9 Martins.

Round 1: Alcantara front kick misses. Saenz shoots in off of a body kick, lands in guard. Alcantara makes space and stands. One minute in. Both miss with their power hands. Clubbing left hook and a body knee from Iuri. Saenz to the body. Iuri hurts him with a front kick to the body and Saenz presses him against the cage.  Knees to the thigh from the American. Two minutes in. Iuri briefly wrangles him to the mat and lands an elbow before they split. Low kick from Saenz, who ducks a winging left. Left hook connects for the Brazilian, as does a body kick. Saenz with a knee inside. Two minutes to go.

Saenz lands a sequence of right hands. Iuri clinches up, taking him to the fence with the bodylock. He wrangles Saenz down, attacking the back quickly. Saenz spins out, landing on top. He stands, then comes down in Iuri's guard. Short right hands from Saenz. Saenz ends the round with more ground-and-pound. 10-9 Saenz.

Round 2: Counter left hook lands for Alcantara as Saenz looks to flurry. Another lands to the temple. High kick lands for Iuri and Saenz looks to clinch. They jockey for position on the fence, then split. 1-2 from the Brazilian, then a single-leg takedown. Saenz back up in a hurry. Saenz takes Iuri down when he's off-balance and takes the top turtle position. Knees to the body from the American. Good punches as well. Two minutes in. Iuri rolls through for a leglock, can't get it and winds up on the bottom in the scramble. Saenz on top in guard. Two minutes to go.

Iuri fights for an armbar, Saenz sneaks his arm free. More ground-and-pound for Saenz. Frankie stands and kicks at Iuri's legs. This continues for a while until Iuri kicks him off and makes space. One minute to go. Elbow from Saenz, straight left from Alcantara. Short left hook lands for him, as does a body hook. Cut kick by Saenz. 1-2 by the Brazilian. BIG left hand from Alcantara, Saenz takes him down in response. 10-9 Saenz.

Round 3: Counter left from Iuri early on. Counter 1-2 soon after. Front kick falls short. Saenz moves into the clinch, pressing him against the cage. Knee up top from Frankie, then more to the thighs. Good elbows on the break. One minute in. He ducks a 1-2 and completes a blast double into half guard, although Iuri has a Kimura grip on his left arm. Frankie extracts his arm, postures up, and comes down into butterfly guard. Saenz stands, comes back down when Iuri tries to stand. Two minutes in. More ground-and-pound form the American. Iuri kicks him off and stands, gets pressed into the fence. Good knee from Saenz. Alcantara on one knee, stands and eats another knee to the body. Two minutes to go.

Iuri manages to stand up and make space, but seems fatigued. Body kick lands for him. Another one connects, they briefly clinch and Saenz lands a knee. One minute to go. Saenz ducks a spinning backfist and shoots in. Alcantara reverses position and presses him against the fence, completing an outside trip into full mount. Ground-and-pound from Alcantara. Saenz gives up his back. He avoids the armbar transition and escapes out the back door, landing punches on the turtling Brazilian until the end. 10-9 Saenz.

Round 1: Ponzinibbio will be known as SP for the remainder of this play-by-play.

SP moving forward, Strickland firing the jab. Good right hand by SP, Strickland with an uppercut when he tries to capitalize. Strickland head kick blocked. One minute in. Lead right by Strickland connects. BIG left hook by Ponzinibbio and Strickland clinches. Another left hook and he shoots, taking SP down against the cage. SP scrambles up and makes space. Two minutes in. SP finding success with his own jab. Strickland active with his. SP leg kick. SP gets knocked on his seat by a jab and Strickland rushes him, only to eat some heavy counters. SP connects with a head kick and is in pursuit, landing hard punches. Strickland pinned against the cage as SP pursues. Big right hand by the Argentinian. One minute to go. Things have slowed back down. Another straight right connects for SP. SP shoots in and takes Strickland down near the cage, setting up in guard. Round ends there. 10-9 Ponzinibbio.

Round 2: Strickland maintaining distance early. Low kick from SP. Currently a jab battle. One minute in. Both whiff in a rapid exchange. 3-2 connects for SP. Strickland working behind the jab. SP body kick answered by a 1-2. Two minutes in. SP low kick checked. 2-3 from SP and Strickland shoots in, looking for the back in the scramble. One hook in for the American. SP gets knocked down by a jab while off-balance, manages to scramble up but is pinned against the cage by Strickland. One minute in. Strickland in on the hips, takes him down. SP gets his back to the fence and scrambles up. They separate and return to the center. Two minutes in. SP leg kick connects. 1-2 from SP connects. Stiff jabs continue from Strickland. Round 1: Dwyer slings out a low kick. Macario falls short with a left hook. Dwyer connects with an overhand right. Another. Good low kick lands for him. One minute in. Good exchange inside, both men landing hard. Dwyer tossing out front kicks, is stuffed on a shot. Head kick blocked. Two minutes in. Macario with a glancing leg kick. Dwyer answers, harder. Counter straight lands for him, then a right hand as they trade body kicks. Two minutes to go.

Dwyer lands a beautiful Superman punch that sends Patolino wobbling to the mat face-first. A few more punches and this one is over.

Round 1: Mike on the advance, winging punches. Trator takes him to the fence. Mike tries to reverse position. Trator looks for an inside trip, can't get it and they split. One minute in. Left hook and straight right from de la Torre. Trator clinches up. They separate near the fence. de la Torre shoots in against the cage. Two minutes in. Trator reverses position and looks for a trip. They exchange in the clinch and de la Torre wobbles him with a left hook. Trator desperate to tie up, eats a left hook on the exit. Another left hook drops Trator and de la Torre puts him to sleep with a vicious sequence of punches.

Final result: de la Torre def. Trator by TKO (punches)

Round 1: Gibson moving forward, takes a couple of inside low kicks. Silva wings an overhand right that hits glove. One minute in. Gibson tries a single-leg, Silva squirms out. Silva stuffs another takedown. Silva looking for the right uppercut. Cody again denied when he tries to change levels. Two minutes in, Silva landing inside low kicks with consistency. Gibson whiffs on a reaching left hand. More low kicks from Silva. Uppercut connects for him, then they trade leg kicks. Left hook clips Silva. Two minutes to go.

Gibson ducks an overhand right, still can't tie up. Spinning back kick from the Brazilian misses. One minute to go. Body kick by Gibson, shot stuffed again. Shovel hook by Silva, Gibson responds with a swatting overhand right. Silva moves him to the fence. Gibson reverses position. Silva bleeding from some dirty boxing. They move towards the center and they trade heavy leather until the bell. 10-9 Silva.

Round 2: Gibson jab, Silva low kick. Glancing right from Cody. 1-2 lands for him, counter uppercut just misses his head. SIlva overhand right is blocked, Cody lands a left straight. Counter uppercut after a few Gibson jabs. Outside leg kick this time. Cody straight left, then a 1-2. HUGE counter right from Silva drops Gibson flat on his back. Gibson gets his senses back and ties Silva up as the Brazilian tries to pound him out. Silva on top in half guard. Two minutes in. Cody with his back on the fence, manages to stand and backs him off with a right hook. Spinning back kick connects for Silva. Straight left from Gibson. Two minutes to go.

Gibson tries a wheel kick. Lead left hook rocks Gibson. Silva on the advance, eats a counter and backs off to center cage. One minute to go. Gibson connects on a left hook following a missed uppercut. He slips on a head kick attempt. Straight left connects. Silva flurries in response. He ends the round on the advance. 10-9 Silva.

Round 3: Gibson back on the advance. Lead left hook from him, counter from Silva. Another lead left connects. One minute in. Uppercut from Silva, leg kick by Gibson. Gibson shot denied. Gibson relentless in his pursuit of the takedown, landing punches as he does. Ridiculous scramble ensues, with Silva somehow landing on top in half guard. Two minutes in. Gibson scrambles back to his feet, misses with a head kick. Left hook from the Brazilian. Leg kick exchange. Two minutes to go.

Gibson lands a left hook. Spinning back kick misses for the Brazilian. Both whiff on right hands. Silva shoots in, gets mugged with punches for trying. Straight right by Silva, Gibson left hook. Silva very fatigued. Gibson with a clubbing left hook, eats a leg kick. One minute to go. Gibson with a 2-3, landing very frequently in the latter stages of the round. Wheel kick blocked. Round 1: Jorge wins both the walkout and tattoo battles. Let's see how the actual battle goes.

Shockley striking out the jab, lands a pair of knees in the plum. Jorge looking for a single-leg as Shockley advances, takes him to the fence. Shockley reverses position, knees the body. Jorge has a bodylock and trips him down into side control. One minute in. Shockley scrambles up, avoids a d'arce attempt and gets in on Jorge's hips against the cage. Knee to the body lands before "Batman" takes him right back down into side control. Two minutes in. Shockley regains half guard, but Jorge passes directly into mount. Shockley gives up an arm-triangle. Two minutes to go.

Jorge squeezing from full mount. Shockley looks on the verge of tapping. Jorge passes to side control. Shockley wincing, but defending. One minute to go. Shockley somehow worms his way out and regains half guard. Shockley grabs an underhook and scrambles up to his feet. Jorge low kick, Shockley 1-2. Front kick misses for him. Jorge lands a body kick before the round's end. 10-9 Jorge.

Round 2: Shockley wades in, Jorge grabs double-unders as they die up. Shockley looks for knees before they separate. Check hook by Shockley. One minute in. Jorge tries to plow forward with punches. Good combination by Shockley off a Jorge leg kick. Leg kick lands for Jorge. Jorge wades into the clinch, eats a few knees and a right hand on the exit. Two minutes in. Three-punch combo from Josh. Jorge eats a right hand and tries to change levels, but gets stuffed. Jorge potshots the body and lands an overhand right, shooting in as he does. Jorge in on a leg. Two minutes to go.

Jorge still fighting for the single-leg. Shockley manages to shove him off. Right hand inside from him. 1-1-2 from Jorge and he shoots again, fighting for the same single-leg. One minute to go. Mario Yamasaki breaks them up with around thirty to go. They trade a few straight punches. Jorge leaps in with a left hook and ties up at the bell. 10-9 Shockley.

Round 3: Jorge lands a glancing hook early. Shockley going back to the long jab. Jorge shoots in after a left hook and trips him down, only for Shockley to reverse into mount.  Methodical punches and elbows from Shockley, Jorge regains guard. One minute in. Jorge scrambles up, Shockley grabs the front headlock but lets him out. Brief pause as Shockley's mouthpiece fell out. Good right hand by Batman on the restart. Inside leg kick. They clinch, Shockley lands a knee and they split. Lots of staring. Counter right from Shockley. Josh shoots in and nearly completes a low single before Jorge extracts his leg. Nice left by Jorge, then a right to the body. Shockley with a 1-2, then a knee to the body. Two minutes to go.

Neither man very active. Jorge presses forward, shoots in and punches the body in the clinch. Jorge kneeing the legs. He gets double underhooks and trips him into side control. Forty-five seconds to go. Hammerfists from Jorge. Fight ends there. Could go either way; 10-9 Jorge.
