UFC Fight Night 62: 'Aggressive' Erick Silva plans to pretzel Ben Saunders in Brazil

"Killa B" better have his defense on point.

Jason Silva-USA TODAY Sports

Two talented submission practitioners will lock horns next month as Erick Silva meets Ben Saunders at UFC Fight Night 62 on March 21, 2015 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The main card airs live on FOX Sports 1.

For Silva, he sees their welterweight scrap as an opportunity to show off his submission skills against an opponent with long legs that are perfect for twisting. And that's just what he intends to do, as he looks to turn Ben's limbs into a pretzel when the Octagon door slams shut.

And in quick fashion, too.

Check out his prediction for Globo (via Bloody Elbow):

"Saunders is a big guy, which is good. The bigger they are, the harder they fall. My game plan is to take him down and submit him. I'm training a lot of jiu-jitsu. His legs are long, I'm sure I'll twist them. It's going to be a good and quick fight. I'm more focused and training more. I'm aggressive as a tiger and calm enough to wait for the right opportunity."

"Killa B," though, is far from a novice when it comes to the ground game. The jiu-jitsu black belt has plenty of submission victories to his credit including the award-winning omoplata he executed on Chris Heatherly at UFC Fight Night 49 last August.

One that earned him an extra $50,000.

And his defense is just as good, too, as Saunders has yet to be submitted in his 10-year career. That said, Silva definitely has his work cut out for him and may be end up getting submitted himself if he isn't careful.

UFC Fight Night 62 will feature a main event bout between Brazil's own Demian Maia returning to action after a year-long layoff to face Ryan LaFlare.
