Following yet another highlight-reel performance from Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) No. 13 ranked featherweight contender Max Holloway in the co-main event of UFC Fight Night 60 (results here) in Broomfield, Colorado, last night (Sat., Feb. 14, 2015), UFC announced plans of a bangfest between "Blessed" and fellow exciting striker Cub Swanson.
Let the highlights and violence commence!
Holloway put on an epic show for the fans in Colorado and those watching live on FOX Sports 1, dominating Cole Miller with an unbelievably enthralling striking attack that saw everything from capoeira kicks to spinning backfists and more (recap here).
With his fifth straight victory, Jon Anik told the exciting Hawaiian in the post-fight interview that UFC matchmaker Sean Shelby had a planned date for "Blessed" to meet with "Killer Cub" at UFC on FOX 15 this coming April inside the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
Holloway giddily accepted the bout on the spot, and fight fans everywhere jumped for joy at the announcement.
At the UFC Fight Night 60 post-fight press conference (replay here), the Hawaiian noted that he is excited for the opportunity to fight Swanson, and he expects fans to "see a bunch of cool spinning stuff in that one."
As for Swanson? You already know he is "down."

Who takes it?
UFC on FOX 15 will be headlined by a marquee middleweight tilt featuring former UFC light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida taking on ex-Strikeforce 185-pound kingpin Luke Rockhold. Women's strawweights Felice Herrig and Paige VanZant are set to scrap on the FOX show as well.
