While the World Series of Fighting (WSOF) may not have offered the most stacked card of the weekend, there is no question WSOF 18 delivered this past Thursday night (Feb. 12, 2015) live on NBC Sports Network from the Edmonton Expo Centre in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
Full results and play-by-play here.
WSOF 18 gave us a little taste of everything from headbutts, to walk-off knockouts, to an enthralling five round championship bout that saw Marlon Moraes defend his bantamweight title against Josh Hill, and a whole lot more.
Among the highlights from Canada last evening was an incredible onslaught from Shane Campbell in the evening's co-main event as he absolutely blasted Derek Boyle in the third round en route to a (technical) knockout victory.
Amidst the finishing sequence, Campbell unleashed a Street Fighter "Hadouken" following a savage body kick that crippled Boyle.

And you wonder why Campbell's nickname is "Shaolin."
The outstanding finish was a tad bit marred by the ridiculously late stoppage by the referee. Campbell unleashed around 15 unanswered blows to his downed opponent prior to the ref finally stepping in.
