Let's try this again.
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight contenders Ronaldo Souza and Yoel Romero will go to war at the upcoming UFC on FOX 15 mixed martial arts (MMA) event, which takes place inside the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, on Sat., April 18, 2015.
They were expected to do the deed at UFC 184; however, "Jacare" got sick and their fight was postponed.
Souza (21-3) continues to inch himself closer to a 185-pound title shot and has now won seven consecutive fights dating back to his Strikeforce days, including a third-round submission win over Gegard Mousasi last September on FOX Sports 1.
But his latest test could be his stiffest.
Like the Brazilian, Romero (9-1) has been tearing up the middleweight division. Putting a cherry on top of his five-fight winning streak, the hard-hitting "Soldier of God" beat the brakes off Tim Kennedy at the recent UFC 178 PPV event in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Who takes it?
UFC on FOX 15 will be headlined by a spectacular main event pitting former UFC light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida against ex-Strikeforce 185-pound kingpin Luke Rockhold. Elsewhere on the card, Manny Ganburyan throws hands with Aljamain Sterling.
