Mein immediately doubled over in major pain and Alves came in for the finish, swarming with a knee and punches in bunches to force the referee to intervene.
It was a huge win for Alves -- he was well on his way to getting picked apart. He'll certainly need to keep busier before we officially declare a promising 170-pound comeback.
