There was disappointment just about everywhere last night (Jan. 31, 2015) when Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) President Dana White announced at the UFC 183 post-fight press conference (watch video replay here) that Nick Diaz would be unable to attend the event.
Diaz's eye was busted up after going toe-to-toe with "The Spider" (watch video highlights here) for five rounds and required medical attention at a local hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Lo and behold, Diaz eventually made his way back to MGM Grand, where mixed martial arts (MMA) reporters just got through speaking with Silva, who earned a unanimous decision win in his comeback fight after suffering a brutal leg injury in Dec. 2013.
And Diaz offered up nearly 15 minutes of material, revealing a pre-fight arm injury that affected his performance, what went wrong inside the Octagon, his fight future and much more.
