Things just got a bit more interesting ahead of UFC Fight Night 80.
Cody Pfister -- who takes on Sage Northcutt on the co-main event of the Fight Pass event, which is set to go down on Dec. 10, 2015 in Las Vegas, Nevada -- says the 19-year old wunderkind isn't living naturally.
As Cody recently told Bloody Elbow, his chiseled looks may have come via the assistance of prohibited substances.
"From what I've heard [Northcutt's] been drug tested like four times, I think that says something. He's f***ing jacked, I'm sure he's juicing, but who knows," he said.
"I might be wrong on that and he's just naturally gifted, but it doesn't matter."
For the record, Sage has never been popped for any performance enhancing drugs. Plus, he's been competing in combat sports since he was a young boy, so that could have plenty to do with his jacked physique and super human strength.
Plus, he's 19 years old, which means his metabolism is working overtime and his testosterone levels are on point, too.
Juiced or not, Cody says he plans on taking it to the karate expert when they collide later this week. And if all goes as planned, the Northcutt hype train will be derailed before it picks up anymore steam.
"I'm gonna bring the heat, I'm gonna finish his ass, he's never fought a guy like me. He lost as an amateur so definitely he can be beaten."
Pfister is coming off a victory over Yosdenis Cedeno at UFC 189 earlier this year while Sage made good on his Octagon debut at UFC 192 with a first-round drubbing of Francisco Trevino in Houston, Texas (see it here).
With just a few days to go until the two talented men duke it out in the center of the cage, things just got a bit more tense on the heels of this bold accusation.
