Cain Velasquez used to be the only fighter at American Kickboxing Academy (AKA) to hold a championship title. These days, he seems to be the only fighter without one.
After Daniel Cormier captured the light heavyweight crown earlier this year, Luke Rockhold went and put the hurt on Chris Weidman to become Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight kingpin (see it), and was welcomed back to San Jose, Calif., with open arms.

Velasquez will try to reclaim his lost prize in the UFC 196 pay-per-view (PPV) main event this February, while "DC" moves on to rematch Jon Jones at some point in 2016. As for Rockhold? He's already set his sights on Vitor Belfort, which did not go over too well with Yoel Romero.
It will be interesting to see how many belts are at AKA this time next year.
