Bellator 150: "Galvao vs. Dantas 2" will take place Feb. 26, 2016, at Kansas Star Arena in Mulvane, Kansas.
Bellator MMA recently announced another big fight for the card (in the literal sense as well as in terms of rankings_, pitting two experienced Heavyweight veterans against each other in a bout scheduled for Spike TV.
Cheick Kongo (23-10-2) has built up an impressive 5-2 resume since coming to Bellator MMA, and already has an argument for a heavyweight title shot in defeating former champion Alexander Volkov.
He's willing to put that possible rematch with Vitaly Minakov aside for now, however, accepting the challenge of the undefeated Augusto Sakai (9-0), who most recently won a hard-fought decision over "Shaved Gorilla" Alex Huddleston.
The winner could emerge as a future match-up for the mercurial Minakov, but there's little doubt Bobby Lashley would have something to say about that, as well.
Reigning bantamweight champion Marcos Galvao will face former champion Eduardo Dantas in the main event. Will the sequel turn out differently than their original clash?
We'll know in several months.
Check out the latest Bellator 150 line up below, with "Prelims" undercard matches to be announced at a later date:
Bantamweight Title Main Event: Marcos Galvao (17-6-1) vs. Eduardo Dantas (17-4)
Lightweight Co-Main Event: Dave Rickels (16-4, 1 NC) vs. TBA
