Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) recently updated its official fighter rankings to reflect the results of its UFC on FOX 17 mixed martial arts (MMA) event, which took place last Saturday night (Dec. 19, 2015) inside Amway Center in Orlando, Florida.
As expected, Nate Diaz and Alistair Overeem were rewarded handsomely for their triumphs in the "Sunshine State." Diaz (18-10) saw the biggest bump, climbing from No. 15 to No. 8 with his unanimous decision win over Michael Johnson (watch it).
Interestingly enough, "The Menace" did not budge from his No. 6 spot.
Overeem (40-14) is now ranked No. 5 at heavyweight, thanks to his technical knockout win over Junior dos Santos in the UFC on FOX 17 co-main event (video). "Cigano," as expected, fell to No. 4 on the list, which also helped Andrei Arlovski improve to No. 2.
That's not all.
Here's what the latest ranking field looks like courtesy of UFC.com. Note: (+/- = movement in rankings, *NR = Not previously ranked).

There you have it.
You can expect these standings to change in less than two weeks -- especially in the welterweight and heavyweight divisions -- as UFC 195: "Lawler vs. Condit" lights up the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Sat., Jan. 2, 2016 (more on that fight card here).
Until then, let us know what you think of the latest rankings movement in the comments section below.
