UFC featherweight Nik Lentz is a lyrical genius, tells BJ Penn to keep his retired ass home

Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight and welterweight champion, BJ Penn, announced he would be willing to return to mixed martial arts (MMA) in order to get some payback on nutrition guru Mike Dolce by taking out his friend Nik Lentz inside the Octagon.

It didn't take long for Lentz to fire back, blasting "The Prodigy" by calling him a "fat, spoiled little rich kid." And during a recent media scrum, "The Carny" declared he'd be more than happy to accept Penn's challenge, saying it wouldn't be hard to find him if "Baby J" is really looking for him.

His words (via MMA Fighting):

"First of all, check out my poem on that, because I'm a lyrical genius when it comes to that stuff. If he wants some, he knows where to find me, in the cage. Or his retired ass can just stay home unless he actually wants to come in here."

Take a look at "The Carny's" lyrical genius right here.

Penn retired from MMA in 2014 following his loss to Frankie Edgar at The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 19 Finale; his third straight defeat.

As for Lentz, he got back on the winning track last weekend (Sat., Dec. 19, 2015) by defeating Danny Castillo via split decision at UFC on FOX 17 in Orlando, Florida (results here).

And though not much has been heard from Penn since his announcement to return to action, "The Carny's" latest comments may just expedite the Hall of Famer's comeback.
