Wow...
...(and still) UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos proved he is undoubtedly here to stay with a one-sided beatdown of top contender Donald Cerrone in the UFC on FOX 17 main event last Saturday night (Dec. 19, 2015) inside Amway Center in Orlando, Florida.
UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor may want to reconsider that jump to lightweight.
In the UFC on FOX 17 co-main event, former UFC heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos came up lame, not only getting popped and dropped by Alistair Overeem, but spending most of his return bout walking around ... and not much else.
It was kinda of a letdown after a fun scrap between Nate Diaz and Michael Johnson.
The Stockton slugger is once again the toast of the 155-pound town after out-boxing lightweight contender Michael Johnson, who will have to go back to the drawing board to try to figure out what went wrong. His offense was on point, but his defense?
Not so much.
In case you missed and or all of last Saturday night's mixed martial arts (MMA) action, which featured "Prelims" on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass -- as well as the debut of a fresh face in the women's strawweight division -- we've gone ahead and compiled all the relevant links for your perusal.
