UFC on FOX 17 bonuses: Rafael dos Anjos, Nate Diaz collect $50,000 checks in Orlando

Following an exciting UFC on FOX 17 mixed martial arts (MMA) card, which emanated from inside Amway Center in Orlando, Fla., tonight (Sat., Dec. 19, 2015), it's now time to honor those fighters who left it all in the Octagon.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) doled out its customary post-fight performance bonuses to four of the 26 combatants on the evening's card. Among those who went home with an extra $50,000 check were Rafael dos Anjos, Nate Diaz and Vicente Luque.

"RDA" retained his Lightweight title by flooring Donald Cerrone with a debilitating leg, then knee strike to earn the technical (knockout) stoppage 66 seconds into round one.

Diaz put forth a sound boxing gameplan to oust Top 10-ranked Lightweight Michael Johnson via unanimous decision.

Luque notched a big submission victory over Hayder Hassan on the Fight Pass "Prelims" when he locked up an anaconda choke on the latter a little over two minutes into the first round.

Again, each fighter received $50,000 extra for their performances in addition to their respective base salaries, which the Florida State Boxing Commission will more than likely not disclose.
