UFC women's Strawweight contender Paige VanZant was once on a fiery hot streak -- in more ways than one -- but The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 20 runner-up Rose Namajunas brought her hype train to a screeching halt in the UFC Fight Night 80 main event earlier this month, which resulted in some bad bumps and bruises for the former.
However, the part-time model and happy-go-lucky personality appears to be fully recovered from the wounds she received at the hands of "Thug Rose" just over one week ago (highlights).
Check out the photo below (via Daily Mail), which was uploaded to her Instagram account yesterday.
I bet Rory MacDonald and Patrick Cummins had some of those "good genetics."
Prior to her five-round pow-wow with Namajunas, which humbled "12 Gauge," VanZant was sitting pretty as the owner of a four-fight win streak with victories over women like Alex Chambers and Felice Herrig.
The grit-and-grind nature of the Team Alpha Male representative's attack will need some shoring up, but it's not as if she took much of a spill in UFC's official rankings after the loss.
Outside of the Top 3, it's really anyone's game in the 115-pound division, so VanZant should still be upbeat about her chances to recover and turn in a dominant 2016 with the help of Urijah Faber and Co.
