To the victor go the spoils.

Yes, Conor McGregor earned the official featherweight title by absolutely obliterating former division king, Jose Aldo, in a mere 13 seconds during the main event of UFC 194 (see it here) last night (Sat., Dec. 12, 2015) in Las Vegas, Nevada; but he also walked home with another prize.

In case you missed it, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) unveiled the cover of EA Sports: "UFC 2," after last night's pay-per-view (PPV) event, which will now feature McGregor alongside former women's bantamweight champion, Ronda Rousey.

While a great honor, for all you superstitious folks out there, it may not be the best of news.

If you've followed the infamous Madden cover curse, it's well documented that plenty of high profile football players haven't had the best of luck in their sport after gracing the cover of the video game.

See prime examples here.

In fact, even Rousey became of victim of "the curse," as she was knocked out by Holly Holm at UFC 193 (see it) after she was awarded this year's cover.

But, that's all simply coincidence...right?
