The next major card for World Series of Fighting (WSOF) is its one night, eight-man Lightweight tournament at WSOF 25 on Nov. 20, 2-15, in Phoenix, Arizona.
In the meantime, WSOF is making moves to upgrade its Featherweight division, inking Bekbulat Magomedov and Alexandre Bezerra to its talented 145-pound roster. Each fighter boasts an impressive record coming into the promotion.
Magomedov -- who is undefeated (16-0) -- is another prospect out of the fertile MMA grounds of Dagestan, with finishes in 89 percent of his professional fights to date. The Philadelphia-based Bezerra (by way of Sao Paulo, Brazil) comes into WSOF at 17-4, with 11 of his 17 wins to date coming via submission.
WSOF President Ray Sefo offered his thoughts on the acquisitions:
"We are pleased to welcome Bekbulat and Alexandre to our stable of world-class athletes, and look forward to seeing how they stack up against our mix of talented and accomplished featherweights."
