RFA 32 highlights! Watch TUF veteran Leandro Higo and others shine in Minnesota

Regional mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion Resurrection Fighting Alliance (RFA) held court inside Mystic Lake Casino Hotel in Prior Lake, Minnesota last night (Fri., Nov. 6, 2015) and it featured a wild finish in the main event between bantamweight fighters Melvin Blumer (12-3) and Leandro Higo (15-2).

The former Ultimate Fighter (TUF) Brazil competitor had little to no trouble dispatching his American opponent, throttling him with a huge right uppercut, before finishing him with strikes three minutes into the opening frame.

In the evening's co-main event, up-and-coming welterweights went toe-to-toe as Jackson-Winkeljohn MMA product Landon Vannata (7-0) drew Minnesota native Chad Curry (7-1). Vannata would go on to lamp Curry in his backyard with a textbook right hand and follow-up punches.

Right before the Vannata win, Benjamin Smith tallied a unanimous-decision win on the judge's scorecards in a 170-pound clunker.

Elsewhere on the main card, Bellator veteran Dakota Cochrane (21-9) scored a unanimous-decision victory over Ben Neumann (9-4), while undefeated Clay Wimer (6-0) withstood an onslaught of right hands and a choke from Sean Richman (2-1) to knock out the latter just over three minutes into round two.

Power MMA representative Logan Storley also took out Marc Hummel in their welterweight exchange via strikes in the first round.
