Vitor Belfort will try to keep himself in the 185-pound title hunt when he collides with aging veteran power-puncher Dan Henderson in the middleweight main event of UFC Fight Night 77, which takes place later tonight (Sat., Nov. 7, 2015) on FOX Sports 1 inside Ibirapuera Gymnasium in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Belfort (24-11) returned from an 18-month layoff only to get creamed by middleweight champion Chris Weidman. His "All American" loss snapped a three-fight winning streak that was the talk of 2013. So too, was his use of testosterone replacement therapy (TRT).
But that's (magic) water under the bridge.
Henderson (31-13) slammed the brakes on a horrendous two-fight skid by slamming his fist into Tim Boetsch's face. The knockout victory for "Hendo" was just his second since 2011 and he could be facing retirement talk with a poor showing tonight in Brazil.
