Referees, judges named for UFC 194 PPV main and co-main events

Referees and judging assignments have been handed out for the upcoming UFC 194 pay-per-view (PPV) mixed martial arts (MMA) event, which takes place on Sat., Dec. 12, 2015, inside MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

From today's (Nov. 30) meeting with Nevada State Athletic Commission (via MMA Junkie):

Referee:

Jose Aldo vs. Conor McGregor: John McCarthy
Chris Weidman vs. Luke Rockhold: Herb Dean

Judges:

Jose Aldo vs. Conor McGregor: Derek Cleary, Sal D'Amato, and Junichiro Kamijo
Chris Weidman vs. Luke Rockhold: Adalaide Byrd, Chris Lee and Marcos Rosales

Byrd is no stranger to MMA bouts. Unfortunately, she's also no stranger to disparaging headlines.

UFC 194 will feature the featherweight title unification bout between reigning champion Jose Aldo and interim titleholder Conor McGregor. Elsewhere on the card, middleweight kingpin Chris Weidman will try to stave off former Strikeforce champ Luke Rockhold.
