Video: UFC veteran Thiago Silva returns to MMA, gets KTFO in second round

Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight contender Thiago Silva (16-5, 2 NC) has been trying to get his mixed martial arts (MMA) career back on track after getting booted from the ranks of ZUFFA in early 2014.

His first stop on the comeback trail was World Series of Fighting (WSOF), but Teddy Holder refused to stick to the script and finished the Brazilian by way of first-round technical knockout back in March. A follow-up fight against Mike Pyle was next on the docket, until this happened.

Not that it kept him out of the cage.

Silva was able to get himself booked for Gladiator MMA last weekend (Sat., Nov. 21, 2015) inside Family Arena in St. Charles, Missouri, opposite longtime light heavyweight slugger Marcus "Money" Sursa. But as you can see from the video above, the change in scenery did little to change his luck.

Ouch.

Thanks to Zombie Prophet for the video.
