Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) recently updated its "official" fighter rankings in the wake of last weekend's UFC Fight Night 78 mixed martial arts (MMA) event, which took place on Saturday (Nov. 21, 2015) inside Monterrey Arena in Monterrey, Mexico.
For complete "Magny vs. Gastelum" results and play-by-play click here.
As expected, Neil Magny got himself into the thick of things at 170 pounds, clocking in at No. 9 after holding off Kelvin Gastelum in the Monterrey main event. The former Ultimate Fighter (TUF) champ also improved his welterweight position, thanks to a gutsy performance in defeat, climbing two spots to No. 13.
That's not all.
Here's what the latest ranking field looks like courtesy of UFC.com. Note: (+/- = movement in rankings, *NR = Not previously ranked).
