TUF 23 casting call seeks strawweight and bantamweight females, light heavyweight males

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will continue its search for the next mixed martial arts (MMA) superstar with The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 23, which is expected to begin filming this January with a FOX Sports 1 premiere date of April 2016.

The promotion is currently seeking female combatants in the strawweight (115 pounds) and bantamweight (135 pound) divisions, as well as males in the light heavyweight class (205 pounds). As always, applicants must be over 21 years old and have a winning professional record, with no less than three fights.

The combat sports reality show is currently in its 22nd season, not including international spin offs, with Conor McGregor and Urijah Faber currently leading a lightweight (155 pounds) group to the proverbial promised land next month in Las Vegas.

Coaches for TUF 23 have yet to be named.
