Video: UFC champ Holly Holm just Rousey'd Michael Strahan on 'Live with Kelly & Michael'

I get the feeling Kelly Ripa doesn't watch much -- if any -- mixed martial arts (MMA), since she introduced Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women's bantamweight titleholder Holly Holm as "the new WFC women's champion."

Or perhaps it was just a slip of the tongue.

The important thing is that "The Preacher's Daughter" was there and spreading the gospel. I'm sure Michael Strahan was delighted, since the last time he interviewed a UFC fighter he got rag-dolled in front of a live studio audience (watch it).

I'm referring, of course, to the recent appearance by ex-UFC champ Ronda Rousey, who started the revolution but eventually passed the baton to Holm. Not that she had much choice, as the longtime pugilist knocked her block off at the UFC 193 event earlier this month in Melbourne, Australia (replay).

As a result, Holm is hitting all the media stops, after her dominant win over "Rowdy" -- reenacted above for the fans in attendance -- made headlines around the globe.

How long it lasts may ultimately depend on this.

Or not.
