UFC Fight Night 78 bonuses: Neil Magny and Kelvin Gastelum walk away with $50k

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) brought an entertaining UFC Fight Night 78 mixed martial arts (MMA) event to Monterrey, Mexico last night (Sat., Nov. 21, 2015) and now it's time to honor those combatants who gave a bit extra when they threw down in the Octagon.

UFC doled out its customary post-fight monetary bonuses to four of the 26 fighters on the card. Among those who're going home with deeper pockets are Neil Magny, Kelvin Gastelum and Andre Fili.

Although Magny took the bout with Gastelum on short notice, he delivered for much of the early parts of their main event clash, edging out the latter (video) for the controversial split-decision win.

"Touchy" got back on the winning track and continued his climb up the featherweight ranks when he starched (video) Gabriel Benitez with a head kick on the "Prelims"

Lastly, Marco Polo Reyes decimated (video) Cesar Arzamendia with a jarring left hook in "Prelims" action.

Again, each fighter received $50,000 extra for their performances in addition to their respective base salaries, which UFC will more than likely keep confidential since it was an international event.
