Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight Wanderlei Silva was granted a re-hearing with Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) after a district court judge ruled in favor of "The Axe Murderer," who insisted the governing body overstepped its bounds.
When and where?
After last month's delay, which came on the heels of UFC Chief Legal Officer Kirk Hendrick's unexpected affidavit (more on that here), the Brazilian's do-over is now scheduled for a week from Monday (Nov. 30, 2015) at 9 a.m. PT (noon ET) in Las Vegas, Nevada, according to MMA Fighting.
Silva received a lifetime ban from mixed martial arts (MMA) after dodging a pre-fight drug test in early 2014. While the former PRIDE slugger has a pretty good chance of getting that overturned for a lesser penalty, there's no guarantee he'll be welcomed back into the ZUFFA fold.
Not after this.
