Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) featherweight champion Jose Aldo smells a rat.
That's why "Junior" has been reporting fake injuries at Nova Uniao, so that he can figure out which one of his (cough) "teammates" is spilling the proverbial beans. Maybe it was the same dastardly do-badder who was spying on Quinton Jackson?
Aldo talks to Combate (via Bloody Elbow):
"Every little thing we do in here, everyone talks about. I was actually chill about it, but Andre Pederneiras was stressed out. I try not to care about what people say. It's actually good this happened, everything we do here in the gym, we hide. Sometimes I say I hurt something so guys can go and talk about it. That way we find out who the rat is. I try to remain relaxed and focused. That's what's important."
The finish line is roughly three weeks away.
Aldo will face interim titleholder Conor McGregor in the UFC 194 pay-per-view (PPV) main event, scheduled for Dec. 12, 2015 inside MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, after their UFC 189 title fight was postponed due to -- you guessed it -- injury.
