It's been well-established that Conor McGregor is all about the benjamins.
Whether it's his "Mac-Mansion," or lavish bets, "Notorious" brings in the revenue for his Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) bosses and spends his wage as he sees fit.
So naturally, in typical McGregor fashion, the loud-mouthed interim featherweight titleholder went and bought a couple of new ... grown-up toys. The 27-year-old recently purchased (via Mirror and FOX Sports) a brand new BMW i8 and a Mercedes-Benz, worth upwards of $469,000, less than a month prior to his title unification main event at the UFC 194 pay-per-view (PPV) with 145-pound champ Jose Aldo.
He's certainly trending towards that nine-figure UFC contract he once spoke about.
Others certainly won't fault him for flaunting wads of cash, but one adversary of his on The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 22 reminded him of wasteful spending in the past. Not that McGregor plans on slowing down his life in the fast lane when he's seeing this kind of coin.
"You might need a job after this, once you spend all that money," Urijah Faber told him during taping of the FOX Sports 1 reality show. "I saw the house that you're renting. Does it matter how much you brought in, or how much you keep at the end?"
McGregor expects UFC 194 to generate "90-100 million" from his Aldo fight.
