Current Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women's bantamweight titleholder Holly Holm is getting a taste of the sweet -- and often hectic -- life a mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter competing at the top of the sport's largest promotion endures.
"The Preacher's Daughter" is set to make an appearance (via MMAjunkie) on popular ABC morning talk show "LIVE with Kelly and Michael" this coming Monday (Nov. 23, 2015) to talk about her thrashing (video) of ex-champion Ronda Rousey at UFC 193 last Saturday (Nov. 14, 2015) in Australia.
Holm, 34, upset the former pound-for-pound star and Tinseltown celebrity over a six-minute period, before turning "Rowdy's" lights off inside round two in Melbourne.
Since her resounding defeat of Rousey -- who looked none too thrilled about returning stateside earlier this week -- Holm already has been interviewed on ABC's "Good Morning America."
While the Albuquerque, N.M.-based fighter will undoubtedly receive a fair amount of time off to bask in her newfound role as 135-pound ruler, Holm has garnered the attention of other sharks in her weight class, but will ultimately be running it back with Rousey when she does indeed get the call from her bosses at ZUFFA.
