Outside of Holly Holm, who laid hands all over Ronda Rousey in the UFC 193 pay-per-view (PPV) main event last weekend in Australia, nobody had a better look at the "Rowdy" ex-champion than Herb Dean, charged with officiating their Nov. 14 title fight.
And the longtime mixed martial arts (MMA) referee was a little surprised at what he saw.
"I think I might have seen her in better physical shape," Dean told FOX Sports. "That’s something I noticed. The people are looking for answers but it’s not always on one side. I have to give Ronda a lot of credit — even though the things she was doing weren’t working well — she kept at it."
Right up until this happened.
Both fans and media have been asking questions in the wake of Rousey's stunning upset loss, one that saw her beaten pillar-to-post by "The Preacher's Daughter." Naturally, the best person to answer those questions is "Rowdy," but it doesn't look like we'll be hearing from her any time soon.
