Invicta FC inks TUF 20 standout, UFC veteran Angela 'Overkill' Hill

Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) recently parted ways with The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 20 contestant and women's strawweight prospect Angela Hill, 27, after "Overkill" dropped back-to-back fights inside the cage. But don't expect her to be crying herself to sleep.

One door closes, another door opens.

"Happy to announce that I'll be fighting for Invicta FC in the very near future," Hill posted on social media. "Big thanks to everyone for all the continuing support and new management Suckerpunch Entertainment for hooking it all up."

Hill (2-2) was bounced from the FOX Sports 1 reality show with a submission loss to Carla Esparza, but was invited back to TUF 20 live finale and captured a unanimous decision win over Emily Kagan. "Overkill," however, faltered in follow-up fights to Tecia Torres and Rose Namajunas.

A date and opponent for her Invicta debut have yet to be announced.
