Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) President Dana White told longtime color commentator Joe Rogan (via MMA Fighting) he's currently working on a rematch between former middleweight champion Anderson Silva and top 185-pound contender Vitor Belfort, who first went to war at UFC 126 back in 2011.
A championship bout "The Spider" won by first-round knockout.
Much has changed since then, as Silva is no longer king of the 185-pound mountain (thanks to this). In addition, the Brazilian is in the middle of serving his one-year suspension for steroids after blowing up his UFC 183 drug test (later blamed on boner pills).
Belfort, meanwhile, has seen his share of ups and downs, which includes his own run-in with Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) and a high-profile loss to Chris Weidman. "The Phenom" returned to the win column earlier this month by stopping Dan Henderson in Brazil.
With that in mind, any fight fans out there think this is the match to make?
