Gian Villante KO's Anthony Perosh with a HUGE right hand! #UFC193 https://t.co/DV9Du1PIIy

Fox Sports 1 "prelims" for UFC 193 started off with a bang tonight (Sat., Nov. 14, 2015) as Gian Villante made short work of veteran Australian mixed martial artist (MMA) Anthony Perosh in front of 70,000 fans at Etihad Stadium in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
The Light Heavyweight stalwarts opened their Fox Sports 1 prelims bout by standing and banging from the outset. The heavy handed Villante was clearly landed cleanly early and often, with Perosh trying to weather the storm and no doubt look for a takedown where he could take advantage of his superior skill set on the ground.
Unfortunately for the hometown favorite, however, Villante never gave him the chance. As you can see in the replay, Perosh tried to go toe to toe with Villante but straight right ended the night for the Aussie, who faceplanted shortly afterwards.
Perosh, 43, is likely on his last legs in the UFC, falling to 15-10, his third loss in his last four fights. Villante moves to 14-6, rebounding from a disappointing loss to Tom Lawlor in July.
