Final UFC 193 odds, betting lines, and free picks for Ronda Rousey vs Holly Holm PPV

Esther Lin

Welp ... we can go ahead and toss that whole "respect" thing right out the window.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey was clearly rattled by her UFC 193 opponent, Holly Holm, when "The Preacher's Daughter" made contact at the UFC 193 weigh-in event on Friday afternoon in Australia.

Watch the video replay here.

Unfortunately for the folks who wager on mixed martial arts (MMA), those last-minute hijinks weren't enough to sway the odds makers, who still have "Rowdy" a colossal -2000 favorite. But that doesn't mean there isn't money to be made at UFC 193, which takes place tonight (Sat., Nov. 14, 2015) in Melbourne.

Quite the contrary.

The "Rousey vs. Holm" undercard has some fertile soil when you take a closer look at the numbers. For that, we defer to our reliable expert "Swinging Johnson," who uncovers value on the PPV main card, as well as the FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass "Prelims."

Pick Uriah Hall (-140) over Robert Whittaker at Bookmaker

It's astonishing that these two fighters are both 6'0" as Hall has the look of a man that is several inches taller. Perhaps it is his 79 inch reach (versus 73 for Whittaker) or his lean, sinewy build but whatever it is he fights taller than his six foot frame would suggest and is stunningly quick. Whittaker appears to be a better fit at middleweight after finishing his first two opponents since he moved up from welterweight. However, Uriah Hall is a step up in class from his most recent opponents, Brad Tavares and Clint Hester. Although I respect the power of Whittaker and his recent victories at 185 pounds I don't believe he's any match for Hall.

Pick Peter Sobotta (-161) over Kyle Noke at Pinnacle

Sobotta is 28-years-old and winner of seven straight. Six of those seven victories have come via rear-naked choke and if he sees an opening he will certainly attempt to get Noke to tap in similar fashion. But Noke has an impressive ground game with eight submissions of his own. However I don't believe he will be able to contend with the power that Sobotta possesses and will ultimately succumb to the BJJ master.

Pick Daniel Kelly (+230) over Steve Montgomery at 5Dimes

If you want a live dog in your UFC picks then might I suggest Daniel Kelly. Kelly is long in the tooth at 38 years of age but he will have the crowd on his side as he is a native Australian who represented his country four times at the Olympic Games on the national judo team. He is coming off the first loss of his MMA career to Sam Alvey courtesy of a first round knockout but I am not convinced the unheralded Steve Montgomery, nicknamed The Creepy Weasel, has been around enough to have earned his standing as a -260 favorite. Let's look for value in this one.

There you have it.
