UFC 193 fight card and lineup for Ronda Rousey vs Holly Holm PPV tonight

Fight card no longer subject to change!

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will look to eclipse its high water mark for attendance (55,724, UFC 129) when it hits Melbourne, Australia, for the first time ever later this evening (Sat., Nov. 14, 2015).

And it's leaning on its biggest superstar, women's Bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey, to pack the 60,000-seat Etihad Stadium to its gills. To check out a sneak peek of what the Octagon will look like tonight in the cavernous open-air venue click here.

Rousey stepped up (again) on relatively short notice (2.5 months) to rescue the UFC 193 main event when Welterweight champion, Robbie Lawler, was forced to withdraw from the pay-per-view (PPV) headlining act opposite Carlos Condit because of a hand injury.

"Rowdy" will put her 135-pound belt -- and undefeated professional mixed martial arts (MMA) record (12-0) -- on the line against former professional boxing champion, Holly Holm. Holm, likewise, is undefeated in MMA (9-0); however, she has never faced such stiff competition to date in her rather brief career.

In fact, it's not even close -- Rousey is a straight up killer, proving time and again that she is light years ahead of her contemporaries. Nonetheless, she was lured to the organization with the sole purpose of stockpiling viable challengers for Rousey.

Does she have a chance? Of course, it's MMA. But, it's not a very promising one.

The same can be said for Valerie Letourneau, unfortunately, who has the unenviable task of trying to derail Polish power-punching psychopath (in the cage), Joanna Jedrzejczyk, who has terrorized the Strawweight division since she captured the 115-pound title earlier this year. Letourneau is a fringe Top 10-ranked fighter (No. 8) and was offered the match more or less because No. 1-ranked contender, Claudia Gadelha, is dealing with injuries.

Also on the PPV docket is a Heavyweight rematch between ageless veterans Mark Hunt, 41, and "Bigfoot" Antonio Silva, 36, who dueled to a blood-soaked, incredible draw in Dec. 2013. The epic encounter was marred weeks later, however, when "Bigfoot" failed his post-fight drug test.

When it's all said and done -- if nothing else -- UFC 193 is going to be super fun to watch, including the eight "Prelims" undercard matches on Fight Pass and FOX Sports 1 that will set the table earlier this evening.
