Former Strikeforce featherweight attraction and one-time face of women's mixed martial arts (MMA), Gina Carano, still has the chops (literally) to keep the gun-toting creeps at bay, evidenced by her slick moves on this broken down city bus in the new movie Heist.
The plot (via IMDB):
A father is without the means to pay for his daughter's medical treatment. As a last resort, he partners with a greedy co-worker to rob a casino. When things go awry, they're forced to hijack a city bus.
For those of you unfamiliar with pro wrasslin', that's former WWE champion Dave Bautista, who along with his fresh mouth, has been chewing the scenery in several blockbuster films like Guardians of the Galaxy and Spectre, as well as the upcoming Kickboxer remake.
He also had that whole MMA thing going on a few years back.
Carano and Bautista are starring alongside Academy Award-winning actor Robert DeNiro, in a film that shelved a possible Ronda Rousey fight (more on that here). "Conviction" has not seen the inside of a cage since her 2009 loss to Cristiane "Cyborg" Justino.
Heist hits theaters this Friday (Nov. 13, 2015).
