Pic: UFC champ Ronda Rousey lands cover of Ring Magazine, boxing fans lose their s--t

It's called the "Bible of Boxing."

So what the heck is Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey doing on the cover of Ring Magazine? Sure, she's never competed in the "sweet science," but she has been dropping world champion pugilists -- with body shots -- during her mixed martial arts (MMA) training.

In fact, "Rowdy" could easily win a gold medal in Olympic boxing.

But I would reckon her inclusion has more to do with her mainstream appeal (subscription bait?), as Rousey has appeared everywhere from daytime talk shows to NFL on FOX. Besides, she is fighting a former boxer at the UFC 193 pay-per-view (PPV) next month in Australia (details).

Just don'e expect boxing fans to be happy about it, as evidenced by the Facebook comments below:

Paul Crawford: Why? She is not a boxer. Personally ive had enough of her being crammed down my throat. What has she done in boxing? Nothing. Keep her away from anything boxing please. She fights in a cage not a ring. And believe it or not, some of us are not fans, and could care less what shes doing, what new movie shes in, what shes eating, what male fighter she can beat up etc. stop. Just stop.

Michael Alvis: I'm a Rousey fan but she has nothing to do with boxing at all. There's multiple female boxing champions and/or Olympians that could've been on this cover- Cecilia Braekhus is undefeated or could've put Amanda Serrano from NY on the cover

Bruce Lockard: This mustee ass broad don't deserve to be on a boxing publication! Ring Magazine sold their soul 20 years ago but they are dancing with the devil now! Bert Sugar would turn over in his grave! This attention seeking hypocritical punk of a woman can not box!
