Undefeated Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight phenom Sage Northcutt will make a quick turnaround and fight fellow 155-pound rising star Cody Pfister at the upcoming UFC Fight Night 80 mixed martial arts (MMA) event on UFC Fight Pass, scheduled for Dec. 10, 2015 inside Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas, Nevada.
"My first fight was so much fun, and this is such a huge opportunity," Northcutt told UFC.com. "My fight went incredibly, I have no injuries, I feel strong, I feel great, and I want to have as many fights as I possibly can."
Northcutt (6-0) has dominated the media headlines since his UFC 192 win over Francisco Trevino earlier this month in Houston, Texas (watch it). Not only is "Super" one of promotion president Dana White's handpicked future stars, he's also the toast of the Tristar town.

Pfister (12-4-1), meanwhile, is coming off a unanimous decision win over Yosdenis Cedeno at the UFC 189 pay-per-view (PPV) event back in July, evening his Octagon record at 1-1 after a submission loss in his promotional debut last February.
UFC Fight Night 80 features 115-pound sensation Paige VanZant in her first headlining act. Anchoring her strawweight showdown opposite Joanne Calderwood is the lightweight bangfest pitting longtime veteran Jim Miler opposite venerable Ultimate Fighter (TUF) standout Mike Chiesa.
