UFC Fight Night 76 full fight: Watch Joseph Duffy knock out Jake Lindsey with strikes in Octagon debut

With a nickname like "The Librarian," what else did you expect to happen to this guy? (Kudos to YouTube user TheHooliganification.)

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Lightweight rising star and Conor McGregor slayer Joseph Duffy set the tone for what is expected to be a long and fruitful mixed martial arts (MMA) career inside the Octagon with a first-round dismissal of Jake Lindsey last March at UFC 185.

Onto bigger and better things now for "Irish Joe," who has since tacked on another exciting performance against Ivan Jorge last July at UFC Fight Night 72.

The 27-year-old faces former Featherweight contender Dustin Poirier in a lightweight bout in the main event of UFC Fight Night 76 in Dublin, Ireland, on Oct. 24, 2015.

As we get set to watch the two 155-pound sluggers go toe-to-toe, feast your eyes on this appetizer while you wait. Lindsey could only muster up a few hard kicks to the lead leg of the former undefeated professional boxer Duffy before succumbing to the brutal power of the Irishman.

Duffy eventually put Lindsey to bed 1:47 into the first round after throttling him with a left high kick and a big body shot.
