Streaking Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight contender Hector Lombard welcomed former World Series of Fighting (WSOF) standout Josh Burkman back to the Octagon last night (Sat., Jan. 3, 2015) at the UFC 182 pay-per-view (PPV) event, which took place inside MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
"The People's Warrior" was game and tried to make it a fight, but it wasn't the kind of performance to stop a mixed martial arts (MMA) monster like "Showeather," who once again proved that between his powerful punches and even more powerful takedowns, there is a very narrow path to victory each and every time he fights.
It seems to be a matter of when -- not if -- Lombard fights for the welterweight title, while Burkman goes back to the drawing board (full fight recap here).
