It's almost time for Super Bowl 49 at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona on Sun., Feb. 1, 2015, where the AFC Champion New England Patriots will battle the NFC Champion Seattle Seahawks for the right to hoist the Lombardi Trophy.
Get hyped!
There's more than just a game to get hyped for, though. When you're not watching Tom Brady dropping dimes to Rob Gronkowski or Russell Wilson airing deep balls to whoever the hell he's got lining up at wide receiver these days between doses of LeGarrette Blount and Marshawn Lynch, respectively, you'll be taking in commercials that cost upward of $4.5 million.
And that's just for 30 seconds of airtime.
That's what happens when a television show frequently breaks more than 100 million viewers like the Super Bowl. It also makes for a mad dash of creativity, as every company willing to shell out that kind of coin is eager to put its best foot forward in front of the largest audience possible.
It makes for some seriously compelling commercials.
