Sam Sicilia took care of business last night (Sat., Jan. 24, 2015) at UFC on FOX 14 at Tele2 Arena in Stockholm, Sweden, spoiling the homecoming of Akira Corassani with a devastating first round knockout.
The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 15 alum waited for his opportunity to unload and then did just that three minutes into their Featherweight match, catching the Swede with an uppercut, huge cross and then one coup de grâce just for good measure.
The bad news for Sicilia?
He was squeezed out of a $50,000 "Performance of the Night" check because Anthony Johnson, Gegard Mousasi, Makwan Amirkhani and Kenny Robertson beat him to the punch ... literally.
