Cheick Kongo, please check in.
Bellator 134, which takes place at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Conn., on Feb. 27, 2015, has taken hit after hit. The Spike TV card first lost a bout between Bobby Lashley and James "The Colossus" Thompson when the former withdrew because of injury.
Muhammed Lawal volunteered to move up to Heavyweight to take Lashley's place. Bellator MMA today decided to take up "King Mo" on his generous offer, only it won't be to fight Thompson.
Scott Coker joined "The MMA Hour" earlier this afternoon to announce a completely new bout. Lawal will now face Cheick Kongo, winner of four out of his last five matches since coming over from Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), his only loss coming to current Heavyweight champion Vitaly Minakov.
It's not all good news, though.
In yet another blow to Bellator 134, Welterweight champion Douglas Lima was forced to withdraw because of an injury, leaving the explosive Paul "Semtex" Daley without an opponent ... for now. Daley could not resist a few potshots on social media.
"Nervous, Scared??....I understand, preparing to fight me....I would be. It's ok....guess you get to have a few more photo shoots with the belt...."
Lima wasted no time firing back on Twitter:
Keep talking homie... Wait till I put my hands on you! Just wait I'll be healthy soon enough.... pic.twitter.com/jWed11G1SI

We will await the announcement of Daley's new opponent, which will hopefully be revealed soon, while simultaneously hope this card doesn't undergo any more radical revisions in the next month.
