Video: Watch angry Tim Kennedy confront Yoel Romero backstage over UFC 178 Stool Gate

Stephen R. Sylvanie-USA TODAY Sports

"What the fuck? Hey, if you can't get off the stool, that's the end of the fight!"

Busted up Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight Tim Kennedy is mad -- and rightly so -- after getting stopped in the third round of his middleweight fight against Yoel Romero at the UFC 178 pay-per-view (PPV) event last night (Sat., Sept. 27, 2014) inside MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

That's because Kennedy had Romero on queer street at the end of the second stanza and "Soldier of God" was likely saved by the bell. Speaking of which, when the bell rang a second time signaling both fighters to return to action, Romero remained on his stool for over 30 seconds, giving himself some extra time to recover as his cornermen waddled out.

Here's what happened backstage:

Dave Sholler was nowhere to be seen.
