UFC 180: Diego Sanchez blows a gasket, unloads on pillow-fisted Norman Parke

Andrew Richardson-USA TODAY Spor

Remember all those pleasantries from last month's press conference? Yeah, that's pretty much out the window.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight veteran Diego Sanchez will fight Norman Parke at the upcoming UFC 180: "Velasquez vs. Werdum" pay-per-view (PPV) event, which takes place on Nov. 15, 2014, inside Arena Mexico in Mexico City, Mexico.

And "The Nightmare" woke up to some pretty unfavorable comments from his opponent.

"You know, this guy has the nerve to say that he's going to kick my F'ing head off, clean off, Sanchez told Submission Radio. "He should have taken a line out of (Conor) McGregor's book, and I was like 'real original.' As far as I'm concerned, from all the fight footage that I've been watching, this guy has pillow punches."

We'll find out in exactly two months.

Sanchez (25-7) lost won a split decision over Ross Pearson back in June to snap a two-fight skid, while "Stormin'" (20-2) recently pounded out Noayuki Kotani in Dublin to extend his undefeated streak to 11 fights. This will be Parke's biggest test to date against a fighter notoriously difficult to put away.
