UFC 176: Bobby Green vs. Abel Trujillo on tap for Aug. 2 in Los Angeles

Let's try this one again.

The bloody anus has been defeated.

Now that his plumbing is back in working order, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight powerhouse Bobby Green has been paired off against Abel Trujillo -- again -- for the upcoming UFC 176 pay-per-view (PPV) event, which takes place on Aug. 2, 2014 inside Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

ESPN reported the 155-pound match up earlier today.

Green (22-5) has yet to taste defeat in three trips to the Octagon, having last competed at UFC on FOX 9, where he took a unanimous decision win over gritty lightweight veteran Pat Healy. In fact, "King" has won seven straight, dating back to a split-decision loss under the Strikeforce banner in 2011.

Keep those hands up!

Trujillo (12-5) is coming off back-to-back knockouts over Roger Bowling and Jamie Varner, the latter of which earned "Killa" lots of cash, scooping up both "knockout of the night" and "fight of the night" bonuses for his slobberknocker against "The Worm."

Can he make it three straight?

UFC 176 will be headlined by a featherweight match up pitting Jose Aldo against Chad Mendes, in a championship rematch from their UFC 142 encounter in Brazil, which "Junior" won by knockout.

Elsewhere on the card, Fabricio Camoes and Gray Maynard hook 'em up in lightweight action, while Derek Brunson joins the fray for a middleweight scrap opposite fellow Strikeforce import Lorenz Larkin.
