Pic: UFC on FOX 12 poster first-look for 'Lawler vs. Brown' on July 26 in San Jose

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will send its top two welterweight sluggers into battle when Robbie Lawler throws hands opposite Matt Brown in the main event of the upcoming UFC on FOX 12 mixed martial arts (MMA) event, scheduled for the SAP Center in San Jose, California, on July 26, 2014.

Here's a sneak peek at the upcoming poster.

Lawler (23-10) is fresh off a technical knockout victory over Jake Ellenberger at the UFC 173 pay-per-view (PPV) event last month in Las Vegas, Nevada (video highlights here). Stopping "The Juggernaut" got him back into the win column after a razor-thin decision loss to Johny Hendricks at UFC 171 back in March.

So much for taking time off.

Brown (19-11) is also coming off a big win his last time out, sending Erick Silva to the emergency room in Cincinnati, Ohio, in the UFC Fight Night 40 headliner on FOX Sports 1. Finishing off the Brazilian marked win number seven for "Immortal," a streak that includes six finishes.

Any chance this thing goes five rounds?

UFC on FOX 12 has more than just a fancy headliner, thanks to the addition of Anthony Johnson vs. Antonio Rogerio Nogueira. In addition, Josh Thomson will jump back into the fray when he collides with Michael Johnson at the network-televised event.
