Anderson Silva admits he doesn't want to fight Chris Weidman again: 'He already defeated me twice'

Stick a fork in him, he's done.

At least when it comes to Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight champion Chris Weidman, who is currently up two-zip on former division kingpin Anderson Silva, thanks to a pair of brutal finishes at UFC 162 and UFC 168, respectively.

"The Spider" is moving on (told you so).

Not to mention, Weidman has his hands full with Lyoto Machida, who tries to bring the belt back to Brazil this Saturday night (July 5, 2014) in the main event of the UFC 175 pay-per-view (PPV), which takes place inside Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Silva breaks it down for Globo (via MMA Fighting):

"Rematch with Chris Weidman is something that is not in my plans. `He already defeated me twice, everybody saw this. Lyoto (Machida) has an opportunity to fight him, we also have ‘Jacare' (Souza), who's coming and looking for his way. Let's root for them to get their space in the UFC and get their shot at the title, win it, become great champions and bring big wins for Brazil."

Silva was knocked out by Weidman at UFC 162 last July, then broke his leg in their UFC 168 rematch later that year.

But the former champ isn't crying over spilled milk, and has instead set his sights on a marquee match up against former UFC welterweight number one contender Nick Diaz, who seems just as interested as "The Spider" in making that bout come to fruition.

Now, about that new contract...
